Does Apex Legends cap FPS?
Yup, Apex Legends does have a FPS cap, but it's set pretty high so most players won't notice. By default, it's capped at 144 FPS. However, if you're looking to push those numbers even higher for some ultra smooth gameplay, you can tweak some settings in the game files to raise that cap. Just remember, your monitor's refresh rate might be the real cap here.

Actually, I've been playing Apex on my beastly setup, and I noticed I couldn't go beyond 144 FPS. Did some digging and yeah, it's capped. But, with a simple tweak in the videoconfig.txt file, I got it running at 190 FPS. It's like butter now!
Honestly, who needs more than 144 FPS? As long as it runs smooth and you're hitting your shots, I'd say it's all good.
