Yep, Apex Legends has skill-based matchmaking (SBMM) in both its ranked and unranked modes. It basically tries to put you in games with players of similar skill level, so you're not constantly getting squashed like a bug by the pros or feeling like you're in a bot lobby. Pretty standard stuff for competitive games these days. Keeps matches fair and fun!

Absolutely, Apex Legends uses SBMM to ensure players have a competitive match every time they dive in. Sometimes it feels a bit too good at matching you with sharpshooters, but hey, that's how you get better, right?

Nope, love it or hate it, SBMM exists in Apex Legends. It's like the gym; you might not always enjoy it, but it's good for you.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
