Nah, armor doesn't slow you down in GTA 5. Whether you're decked out in the heaviest bulletproof vest or riding in an armored car, your speed stays the same. It's all about the style and protection, not about putting the brakes on your speed.

Nope, armor and speed in GTA 5? Unrelated. You can slap on all the armor you want, and it won鈥檛 make you any slower. Drive fast and stay safe!

Absolutely not! Wearing armor doesn't affect your running speed or how fast your vehicles go. I've done back-to-back tests with and without armor, and the results are clear. Speed is unaffected!

Gonna have to disagree. Feels like when I'm in an armored vehicle, it's a bit slower. Could be just the weight of the car, but pretty sure it's a thing.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
