Only one person needs to have The Quarry to play multiplayer. Friends can join as 'audience members', or you can stream it and everyone can vote on decisions!

Nope! Only the host needs to own The Quarry for group play. The others can join in thanks to the game's 'Couch Co-Op' and 'Movie Mode' features.
