Actually, surrendering can sometimes feel like it hits your ELO harder because it ends the game with a definite loss, without the chance for a comeback or improving your personal score. But Riot hasn't specifically said it's worse. It's more about not giving up too early; you never know when a game can turn around!

Nope, surrendering in Valorant doesn't necessarily lose more ELO than playing through and losing a match. It's all about how the ELO system calculates your performance, which includes factors beyond win/loss, like individual performance and the match score before you hit that surrender button. So, if your team's getting steamrolled, surrendering might save you some tilt and time without extra ELO penalty!

Surrender = Lose more ELO? Nah, that's a myth. Just play your best!

I heard surrendering is bad for your ELO, but where's the proof? I say focus on having fun and improving your game, rather than stressing about ELO!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
