The anime adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul:re tries to cover a lot of ground quickly, so it deviates from the manga quite a bit. If you're into deep storytelling, read the manga!

Altough Tokyo Ghoul:re is based on the manga, it's not a perfect adaptation. They cut a lot of content and rearrange some events.
