Technically yes, Valorant can be played with a trackpad, but it's like eating soup with a fork - possible, but not recommended. Valorant is a highly competitive shooter where precision and quick reactions are key. So, while you can use a trackpad, you'd be at a big disadvantage compared to players with mice.

Hot take: Just because you CAN play Valorant with a trackpad doesn't mean you SHOULD. Get a mouse, seriously.

Can confirm from personal experience, playing Valorant with a trackpad is a challenge. I tried it out of curiosity and it was tough competing against others who were using mice. Aiming was difficult and reactions were slower. It's doable for casual play, but for any serious gaming, a mouse is a must-have.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
