Yep, Xbox 360 Rock Band works on Xbox One, but you need the legacy adapter for most instruments. I’ve been jamming with my old gear just fine.

Nope, it doesn't work seamlessly. You need a special adapter, and not all instruments are supported. It's hit or miss.
