Nope, unfortunately, the Xbox Series S does not support USB audio. You'll need to use the optical out or the controller's 3.5mm jack for your audio needs.

Nah, USB audio isn't an option on the Series S. If you want good sound, go for a headset with a 3.5mm connector plugged into the controller.

Trust me, I've tried every which way – Xbox Series S and USB audio just don't mix. Stick with a wired or wireless headset that uses the controller port!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
