Nope! The Xbox Wireless Adapter only works with Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S controllers. You'll need the Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for PC if you want to connect a 360 controller wirelessly.

You can't use the Xbox Wireless Adapter with an Xbox 360 controller. You need the older Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for that.

Tried it myself, and no luck. Xbox Wireless Adapter is a no-go with the Xbox 360 controller. Stick to the Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver!
