I watched Brotherhood first and loved it! The original is great too, but Brotherhood is more aligned with the manga鈥攏o regrets starting there.

You can start with Brotherhood. It's closer to the manga and has a more consistent story. But if you're a completionist, watching the 2003 version first can give you extra context!
