RDR2's map is significantly bigger than GTA 5's. When you think about it, Red Dead Redemption 2 not only has its massive landmass, but it also stuffs it with dense forests, mountains, and vast plains. GTA 5's Los Santos is huge and detailed, but it's more urban and not quite as expansive when you're talking pure square footage. Plus, RDR2 includes the entire map from the first Red Dead Redemption in its epilogue, making it even bigger.

RDR2 hands down. The thing's colossal, and there's a ton more to explore on horseback than driving through GTA 5's traffic. It feels like every inch of RDR2 was designed with purpose.

Honestly, comparing RDR2 to GTA 5 in terms of map size is like comparing apples and oranges. Sure, RDR2 might have a physically larger map, but GTA 5's world feels so alive with its city vibes, traffic, and NPCs. It's not just about size but how you use it!
