I've done this a few times. Just go to the 'Members' tab, remove everyone (yes, EVERYONE), then leave the group last. Group disappears automatically!
Actually, you can't delete a group directly. You have to remove all members and then leave the group. It's a bit tedious, but it works!
You just need to remove all members first. Head to 'Members', remove them one by one, then leave the group yourself. Group deleted!
