Use the mobile app? Hit the three horizontal lines (☰), scroll down to 'Settings & Privacy,' then 'Settings,' and finally 'Active Status.' Toggle it off. Now, you can ghost like a pro!
On the desktop, click the gear icon at the bottom right of the chat sidebar, then click 'Turn Off Chat.' You can turn it off for all contacts or just some. Done and done!
