Oh, it's all about the bling and the symbols. If your card is shiny and has a star, congrats, it's rare! No star, no party.

Rarity symbols, folks. Circle = common, diamond = uncommon, star = rare. Got a holographic? Even better. That's your rare card right there.

You can spot a rare Pokemon card by looking for a few key things: First, check the bottom right corner of the card for a symbol. A circle means it's common, a diamond signals uncommon, and a star indicates it's rare. Additionally, some rare cards might have a holographic finish, either on the artwork or the entire card surface. If you see a super unique symbol like a star with an 'R,' a prism shape, or similar, those are even rarer finds, like ultra rares or secret rares!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
