Here's the quick fix: Go to the shared post on your timeline, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the post, and select 'Delete'! Poof, gone!
From personal experience, I've found it's best to find your shared post in your activity log. You can click those three dots and delete it there too!
Honestly, the fastest way is just to look for the post on your profile and hit those three dots. Simple!
