You can't really disconnect them completely, but you can manage some integration settings. Go to WhatsApp > Settings > Account > Linked Accounts and unlink any Facebook accounts.
Why would you wanna do that? Just kidding! Follow the steps in WhatsApp settings under Account to unlink.
Just head to your Facebook settings, find the Business Integrations tab, and remove WhatsApp from there. Done and dusted!
They're separate. Just be cautious with what permissions you give both apps. That's kinda the best you can do.
