Honestly, I just let mine graze outside. Saves on hay costs. Open the coop door in the morning, and they'll head out to eat grass. Just make sure to close the door at night!

Just toss some hay on the feeding bench in your coop. Chickens sorta fend for themselves after that.

Feeding chickens in Stardew Valley is super easy once you get the hang of it! All you gotta do is have some hay ready - you can get this by cutting grass with your scythe or buying it from Marnie's Ranch. Then, just head over to your chicken coop, and place the hay on the feeding bench inside. Your chickens will munch on the hay and be all happy and productive!

Hay in the feeding bench, easy peasy. But don't forget, happy chickens need to stretch their legs too. Open that coop door and let them roam if the weather's nice.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
