Install the Android version from the Epic Games app. Enable developer mode first and sideload the APK.
There's no direct way to play it natively on Chrome OS, but using GeForce NOW or sideloading the Android app works for many.
If you have a Chromebook that supports Linux apps, you can also try installing the Windows version of Fortnite via Wine. Might be a bit tricky.
You can't play Fortnite on a Chromebook if you're looking for the native experience; performance could be iffy with workarounds.
