You can rename your game by clicking the 'Save and Quit' option from the Esc menu. Then, in the save slots screen, hover over the save file you want to rename and click the pencil icon to edit the name. Super easy!
You can't just rename a game in Slime Rancher, you'll need to make a new save file. Sorry!
I've done this a bunch of times! Just hit 'Save and Quit,' go to the save slot screen, and click the pencil icon next to the name of the file you want to change. Type the new name and voila!
