Open the in-game chat by pressing Enter on your keyboard, type your message, and hit Enter again to send it. Simple as that!
Just hit Enter, type, then Enter again. Easy peasy!
You can also use the squad chat feature to talk to squad members by pressing 'Tab' after opening the chat.
From my experience, hitting 'Enter', typing your message, and hitting 'Enter' again works like a charm!
