Updating GTA 5 is pretty straightforward! If you're on console (PS4/PS5 or Xbox One/Xbox Series X/S), your game should update automatically if you've got automatic updates enabled in your system settings. Just make sure your console is connected to the internet. If it doesn't auto-update, you can find the game in your library and select it to manually check for updates. On PC, it depends on where you bought the game. If it's through Steam, just launch Steam, and it'll update automatically. For Rockstar's launcher, open the launcher, and it should auto-update there too. Happy gaming!
Honestly, I never update mine manually. It just happens like magic every time I turn on my PS5. I think the games are sentient now.
