How do you drop weapons in Fortnite?

Seriously, just open your inventory and drop the weapon. It's as simple as that.

Easy! Open your inventory, select the weapon you wanna drop, and hit the 'drop' button. Voilà, weapon dropped.

When in a game, open up your inventory with the designated button (like 'I' on PC). Select the weapon you wanna drop and hit the 'drop' button. Done and done!

I play on PS5, and I just hold down the 'up' button on the D-pad. It opens my inventory where I can select and drop the weapon.
