Just toss the hay in the troughs, easy peasy. Animals won't eat if they're outside grazing, only need to do this when they're inside for the night or during winter.

Don't forget to let your animals outside when the weather's good! They prefer fresh grass over hay and it's free food.

Feeding your animals in Stardew Valley is super easy! Just make sure you have hay (you can get it by cutting grass with a scythe or buying it from Marnie's Ranch). Then, place the hay in the feeding troughs inside your barns or coops. If you have the Deluxe Coops or Barns, you can also use the autofeed system which does the job for you.

Honestly, I sometimes forget to feed them. They get grumpy, but a day or two won鈥檛 hurt. (Just don't make a habit of it.)

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
