Getting a Golden Chicken in Stardown Valley ain't too hard, but it's a bit of luck mixed with effort. First off, you need to have unlocked the 'Island Farm' and found yourself a Golden Walnut to give to the parrot outside the chicken coop. If you've done all that, just buy a regular chicken from Marnie's Ranch and there’s a chance it'll hatch into a golden one! Keep trying if it doesn't happen right away; patience is key in farming, even for golden chickens.

I actually got my Golden Chicken after the third try! Bought a standard chick from Marnie, placed it in the Island Farm coop, and boom, it hatched into a shiny Golden Chicken on my third attempt. Just keep at it, it's totally worth the surprise!

Just buy chickens. Eventually, one turns gold. It's all RNG.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
