To make things smaller in Adopt Me, use the advanced building tools in the Edit House feature. Select the item you want to resize, and look for the scaling option!

You can't actually resize items in Adopt Me. Gotta work with what ya get!

From personal experience, I found that you can resize items by pressing the Edit House button, selecting an item, and then using the scale tool.
