If the eject button isn't working, try ejecting it from the dashboard: go to 'My Xbox', highlight the disc, and press Y.

I once had to manually open mine with a paperclip. Straighten the clip, insert it into the tiny hole near the disc tray, and push gently.

Seriously, just use the eject button. Over-complicating it isn鈥檛 necessary.
