You can't pause State of Decay 2 in multiplayer mode—sorry! But in single-player mode, use 'Esc' on PC or Start on Xbox.

No pause? Just pull up your inventory; it's the closest you'll get. But stick to single-player if you love a real pause!

On Xbox, just hit the Start button to pause. Simple, right? For PC, press the 'Esc' key to bring up the menu and pause the game!
