Just go to My Career > Career Settings > Retire. Simple as that.

To retire in MLB The Show 23, navigate to the My Career menu in Road to the Show. Look for the retire option, usually found in the Career Settings or Player Management section. Easy peasy!

Been there, done that! Just go to your player profile in Road to the Show, find the settings menu, and there will be an option to retire. I retired my pitcher last week and he’s now enjoying a digital beach somewhere!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
