From experience, nothing beats a good ol' Kiwami attack when their health bar gets fiery. Stops that regen in its tracks!

You gotta use the 'Kiwami' moves! When an enemy's health bar starts to glow, switch to the red 'Heat' mode and hit 'em with a finishing move (Triangle/Y button). That'll stop their regen cold.
