Essence stones? Just for upgrading heroes, nothing fancy.
I've used essence stones to improve my heroes' abilities significantly. Go to the hero screen, select the hero, and use the stones to level up their skills. You'll notice the difference in battle!
Essence stones are for upgrading your heroes' skills. Go to the hero menu, pick your hero, and apply the stones to make them stronger. Easy peasy!
