In Demon Slayer, demons are ranked from Twelve Kizuki, the elite demons serving directly under Muzan Kibutsuji, to the Lower and Upper Moons. Upper Moons are the strongest and Lower Moons are, well, not as scary but still pretty terrifying!
Basically, the stronger the demon, the higher the rank, with the Upper and Lower Moons being at the top of the demon food chain!
