In Valorant, when a new ranked season (Act) starts, your rank doesn't just disappear but undergoes a 'soft reset'. This means you won't start from scratch but will need to play a few placement matches to show your current skill level. Your performance in these matches will decide your starting rank for the new season, usually placing you near your previous season's rank unless you've vastly improved or slumped.

Just play 5 placement matches at the start of each Act. If you're sick like me, you'll probably end up higher than where you left off last season. EZ.

Rank resets in Valorant are a myth. You play, you get placed, and that鈥檚 it. Don鈥檛 overthink it.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
