Storm Surge activates when too many players are alive during the late stages of a match. It deals periodic damage to players with the least damage dealt until enough people are eliminated.

Storm Surge is Fortnite's way of saying, 'Hey, stop hiding and start fighting!' It punishes the players with the least damage dealt over time until player count is reduced to a certain number.

Basically, if you're not aggressive enough, the Storm Surge will get ya! Be sure to deal damage so you don't end up a victim.

Storm Surge pops up when there are more players than intended during the late game. It does damage to the people who've done the least damage, so stay aggressive!

It's a mechanism to ensure there's enough chaos in the late game. It punishes players who haven't been active in dealing damage, so no camping allowed!

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
