In Valorant, unrated matchmaking works by using a hidden MMR (Matchmaking Rating) system. Even though you can't see your rating, the game calculates it based on your performance in matches. This MMR is what pairs you up with players of similar skill levels, aiming to create balanced teams. It's kind of like the game's secret sauce to make sure you're not getting steamrolled or bored dominating every round. Plus, it's a great way to improve your skills against equally matched opponents!

It's basically a hidden elo system. You play, the game secretly judges you, and then tries to match you with players who are about as good (or bad) as you are. No pressure, but every move counts!

All random, feels like. Sometimes you get a good team, sometimes it feels like you're herding cats. But officially, there's a hidden MMR working its magic.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
