Act reset? It just means you play a few games and basically end up where you were last time. Don't stress too much about it.

Whenever a new act starts in Valorant, it's like hitting the refresh button on your ranking journey. Your rank doesn't completely vanish, but you'll have to play a few placement matches to show where you stand with the new act. Usually, this is about 3 matches. Based on your performance, you might find yourself placed near where you ended last act or you could see a bit of a shift. It's Riot's way of keeping the game competitive and fresh!

They make you do placement matches again, but it's not a full reset. Your previous rank matters.

Honestly, the act reset is just Riot's fancy way of making us prove we still got it every few months. You play 3 matches, and bam, you're ranked again. Though, if you've seriously upped your game, this could be your chance to climb higher!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
