EA didn't ruin Plants vs Zombies, they just made it different. Before EA, PvZ was a one-time purchase. Now, it's got a freemium model on mobile where you can play for free but might be tempted to buy in-app purchases for a faster or more flashy experience. It's like swapping a cozy cafe for a flashy fast-food joint; not necessarily worse, just not what the original fans were used to.

Ruined is a strong word! EA's acquisition brought Plants vs Zombies to more platforms and audiences. Sure, the freemium model can be annoying with its in-app purchases, but it allows more people to play the game without spending upfront. Plus, having more money in the game means you can unlock cool stuff faster!

EA totally messed up PvZ. They turned a perfectly good game into a cash grab with their freemium approach. Miss the good old days when you could just buy a game and enjoy it without being nickeled and dimed.

If you're a Plants vs Zombies player looking for extra money or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Plants vs Zombies essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
