The One Piece manga and anime are actually pretty close to each other, all things considered. The anime usually stays around 30 to 40 chapters behind the manga. This gives the manga some breathing room and ensures the anime doesn't catch up too quickly, which would force them to add a lot of filler content. So, if you're up to date with the anime, you're not too far off from the manga's latest adventures!

Honestly, they're close enough that you won't feel like you're on a different planet if you jump from one to the other. But yeah, the anime does lag behind by a few dozen chapters usually.

Way too close! The anime needs to slow down or we鈥檙e gonna end up with more fillers, and nobody wants that.

If you're a One Piece fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
