How is affinity split in Warframe?
Affinity is split between Warframes and weapons depending on what you use to get the kill. If your Warframe gets the kill, 100% of the affinity goes to it. If your weapon gets the kill, 50% goes to the weapon and 50% to the Warframe. Just make sure you're using the gear you want to level up!

If you wanna level your weapons faster, use them for kills instead of your Warframe abilities. Easy peasy!
Nice and simple: Warframe gets kills = 100% Warframe. Weapon gets kills = 50% weapon, 50% Warframe. Stay close in a squad for shared XP!
It depends on if you're in a squad or solo. Solo: Warframe kills give 100% affinity to Warframe, weapon kills split it 50/50. In a squad: nearby allies share affinity equally, so make sure to stay close.
From my grind, when solo farming, the kills you make with your Warframe direct all affinity to it, while kills with your weapons split it 50/50 between your gear and the Warframe. Stick with a squad to share and level up faster!
