How Long Are Pokemon Cards in Print?

Pokemon cards' print durations can vary widely! Some cards are part of the core set and get reprinted over the years, while others, like those from special or limited editions, might only see the printing press once. It really depends on the card's popularity, its set, and market demand. So you could see a card in print for a long time, or it might be a one-and-done deal.

Depends on the card. But generally, if it's not a regular part of a set or it's a special release, it could be a very short time. I managed to snag a limited edition card once and haven't seen it in print since. It鈥檚 all about timing and a bit of luck.

Short answer: Not long enough for you to wait around! If you see a card you love or need for your deck, grab it. Some of those babies are here today, gone tomorrow.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
