It usually takes around 15-20 hours to beat Super Mario Sunshine if you're just focused on the main story. Tackling all the extra Shine Sprites and secrets could push you closer to 30-35 hours, so plan for a sunny vacation!

Honestly, if you're like me and get distracted easily by all the fun stuff, it could take even longer! I spent nearly 40 hours chasing every last Shine Sprite. Worth it, though!

Speedrun it in 7-8 hours if you know the tricks. Casual playthrough? 20 hours tops.

I'd say expect to spend around 18 hours finishing the main game. Speedrunners can complete it faster, but most players will take some time exploring and relaxing on Isle Delfino!
