In my experience, it took me about a week of casual playing to get all the Gara parts. Just keep at it and enjoy the grind!
It'll take around two to three days of dedicated farming to get all the parts for Gara, especially from the plains of Eidolon bounties. Be sure to have patience and a good squad!
