Valorant's downtime can vary based on what Riot Games is doing. For regular updates, downtime might last anywhere from 2 to 4 hours, but for major updates or the launch of new episodes, it could extend up to 6 hours. Riot usually announces these on their social media platforms, so it's a good idea to keep an eye out there!

From my experience, expect to chill without Valorant for about 2-4 hours when they're doing their update magic. If it's a big one, grab a snack and a movie 'cause it could stretch up to 6.

Honestly, downtime feels random. Sometimes it's quick, other times my whole night's plans get tossed. Best advice? Follow Riot on Twitter for the real-time scoop.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
