The length of a Valorant penalty really depends on what you did. If you're talking about queue dodging, it starts at 3 minutes for the first offense but can ramp up to 10 minutes or more if you keep doing it. For AFK penalties, it begins with a short time ban from matchmaking but can escalate to hours and even days if you're a repeat offender. And remember, severe offenses like cheating can get you a permanent ban!

Short answer: It ranges. Dodging a match? A few minutes. AFK a lot? Hours to days. Cheat? Say goodbye forever.

Not too long if it's just a one-off. I dodged a match once because my cat decided my keyboard was the perfect nap spot. Got hit with a 3-minute timeout. Just don't make dodging or going AFK a habit, or Riot will ground you for a lot longer!

Honestly, it's too short. People who AFK ruin the game and only get a slap on the wrist. Riot needs to up those penalties if you ask me.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
