5 years, officially. But let's be honest, Rockstar probably started plotting GTA 6 the moment GTA V hit the shelves. They're always one step ahead!

Grand Theft Auto 6 has been cooking up a storm since at least 2020, but if we're being real, whispers and rumors started floating around way before that. With its planned release in 2025, that puts its development timeline at at least 5 years. Knowing Rockstar's dedication to detail, they probably kicked off the brainstorming phase long before they even announced anything.

Considering the depth and complexity of GTA games, a 5-year development cycle for GTA 6 seems about right. Rockstar Games is all about quality, and good things take time.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
