It's usually just a couple of hours. But hey, why not take the downtime as an opportunity to catch up on life outside of Valorant? Or maybe just stare at the 'server down' screen in despair. Your call.

The downtime for Valorant maintenance usually lasts anywhere from 2 to 4 hours, though it can sometimes extend a bit longer if they're rolling out a major update. Keep an eye on the official Valorant and Riot Games Twitter accounts; they're pretty good about posting updates and any changes in the maintenance schedule.

In my experience, 3 hours max. Anything longer and the community starts getting twitchy. Riot's usually quick to fix things up and get the game back online.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
