You can technically fill a deck with up to 59 Energy cards, but let's be real, nobody does that. Aim for 15-20 to keep things flowing smoothly!

15-20 Energy cards in a deck is usually the sweet spot. Trust me, tried and tested. You need enough to play smoothly, but not so many that you're pulling more Energy than action in a game.

In Pokemon TCG, there's no set number of Energy cards you have to have in your deck, but you can't have more than 59. It's all about balance, folks! You wanna make sure you've got enough to power your Pokemon's moves without drowning in a sea of Energy cards. Most players stick to around 15-20 Energy cards in a 60-card deck. Gives you enough juice to fight but still leaves room for all those sweet, sweet Pokemon and Trainer cards.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
