Both games have huge followings, but War Thunder typically boasts around 50,000 - 100,000 concurrent players on Steam, while World of Tanks averages about 20,000 - 50,000. Gaijin Entertainment and Wargaming.net have created sprawling virtual battlefields, so it's tough to pinpoint an exact number for each game, but both are massively popular!

I think War Thunder has a slight edge in player numbers. According to various sources, War Thunder sees higher daily activity overall. But, World of Tanks has a pretty loyal fan base too โ€“ both games rock!

I've played both, and honestly, it feels like they're evenly matched in player base. Just jump in and enjoy whichever fits your style better!
