As a seasoned veteran, I can tell you the mortal empires campaign is a blast with a friend. Co-op campaign with 2 players, but for custom battles, the sky's the limit with 8 players in the mix!
Max 8 players in total war battles and 2 in campaign co-op.
Hands down, one of the best parts of Total War: Warhammer 2 is that you can have an 8-player free-for-all chaos!
