A competitive Valorant match is a race to 13 rounds, meaning the first team to win 13 rounds wins the match. But, if both teams are tied at 12 rounds each, the game goes into overtime. So technically, there's no max limit to rounds in a match if both teams keep tying in overtime!

It's a best of 25 rounds setup, so first to 13 wins. If it hits 12-12, then you're in for an overtime treat which can technically go on forever until someone edges ahead by 2 rounds!

Just 13 rounds needed to win, but good luck if it goes to overtime. That's where the real fun (or pain) starts.

13 to win but can go on forever with overtime. Have had some matches feel like a marathon!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
